SEATA Conference Information

The meeting begins with registration on Sunday, July 11, and concludes at noon on Wednesday, July 14. The opening reception will be held Sunday evening at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and the reception will include conducted and at-your-own-pace tours of the Library.

General Sessions will be held Monday and Tuesday mornings. In-depth sessions organized around legal/policy, technology, tax compliance, and management developments are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday afternoons. The Delegate luncheon will be held Monday. Tuesday evening will feature a banquet with music and entertainment, and you will have time afterwards to visit shops and stroll down to the River Market from the Little Rock Peabody Hotel.

The SEATA Executive Committee Breakfast Meeting (by invitation) and the SEATA Information Exchange Committee Breakfast Meeting (by invitation) will take place Wednesday morning.

General Sessions

The general sessions are devoted to current issues and initiatives in federal and state tax of interest to all business and government attendees. Sessions are held each morning on Monday and Tuesday.

 
Breakout Sessions • Sales & Use Tax • Income Tax/Administrative • Property Tax

The conference will also feature concurrent, daily sessions on legal and tax policy developments, management and compliance initiatives and leading-edge technology applications.

 
Delegate's Luncheon

The Delegate ’s luncheon will be held Monday.

 
Commissioner/Industry Council Breakfast (by invitation)

There will be a breakfast for the senior tax administrator in each state and representatives from the Industry Council on Tuesday morning.

 
Industry Council Luncheon (by invitation)

There will be a lunch for members of the Industry Council at noon on Tuesday.

 
Executive Committee Luncheon (by invitation)

There will be a lunch for members of the Executive Committee at noon on Tuesday.

 
Continuing Education Credits

Participants seeking continuing education credits will be asked to complete attendance forms and evaluations on site.
